Mul-T-Lock® high security cylinders have a unique telescopic pin tumbler mechanism with internal and external pins. Both the internal and the external shear lines must be aligned simultaneously in order for the plug to rotate.

The Mul-T-Lock patented plug has a unique structure.
When the top and bottom pins, plug and body meet, a three-dimensional shear line is formed to an almost perfectly spherical shape.
Steel inserts ensure anti-drilling resistance.

These features provide an added security dimension and make the Mul-T-Lock cylinder pick-resistant and drill-resistant for high security needs.

The Mul-T-Lock patented Interactive system raises the level of security to new heights. The Interactive system combines the unique telescopic pin tumbler mechanism and special features of the Classic system with a spring-loaded pin in the cylinder plug to produce a ‘virtual combination’ only when the key is inserted in the lock.

The Interactive patented key and key blank provide increased control over key cutting to achieve an even higher level of key security.

Additional keys should be cut only after presentation of a Mul-T-Lock key card and verification of customer identity in accordance with Mul-T-Lock key cutting procedures, which may be obtained through professional Mul-T-Lock locksmiths.

Interactive technology is retro-compatible with the Mul-T-Lock Classic system, allowing existing locks to be upgraded.

Mul-T-Lock interactive® System High Security with RFID
Finally Mul-T-Lock has answered our requests for an access card in the head of the key. This makes it three credentials in one. The double sided key can have a different code on each side and the head houses an access control card - any access control card. This key works with HID, PARADOX and other top manufactures of access control.

The Mul-T-Lock Interactive Key

This key can only be produced when a special card is presented to the locksmith who originally sold the lock. The locksmith’s dealer number and phone number are stamped right on the key.
