Do I need Cameras?

CCTV systems are designed to gather information.  Evidence for use in court, in protecting property or protecting people.

Many companies will be happy to install a camera system to prevent break and enters, theft or other crimes.  At SSI we want you to know that a camera system will not, in itself, deter or stop crimes from happening.  Enforcement is key in video surveillance.

Full sized cameras offer better picture quality,  resolution and options than board cameras which use electronics to make up for the lack of an optical lense.

Licence Plate Camera -------------------------

There is only one brand of camera that will capture a license plate camera.  License plates are placed at an odd angle for cameras, they reflect light and they are surounded by tail lights.  Most cameras will only give you a washed out image.

HIDDEN CAMERAS

 

How They Work:

A dummy camera is often used to distract vandels from the real camera.


The hidden camera is mounted in an area out of harms way.  The area viewed by the camera is recorded on a VCR or a DVR.  This image can be displayed on a monitor or a computer through a network or over the internet.

 

Capture DVRs allow you to view your home, store or business from anywhere in the world as long as you have a computer, software and an internet connection.
