Various
credentials can be used. Proximity
cards are often recommended as they require little maintenance.
Proximity
cards
and tags work very well, with little wear and tear.
Simply hold the card or tag up to the sensor and the lock will be
released. No need to remove the
card from your pocket or purse.
Access codes can be used and no credential is required.
Biometric readers can be intergrated into this system. Biometrics is a fancy word that means we measure some part of your body that is unique to you and that becomes your credential. Thumb prints and face recognition are both available.
