Your
alarm is likely monitored by a company in the
United
States
.
Most alarm companies use a third party monitoring company that is
south of the border. This
means that your purchasing power is leaving the local economy.
We
use Maximum Monitoring located in
Aurora
,
ON
.
Our
alarm equipment is manufactured locally in
Canada
.
DSC and Paradox are Canadian brands.
If
you and your neighbours agree to have
SSI
monitor your alarm systems (existing or new)
we
will be able to include guard patrols of your building, business or home
included in the price.
This
has meant 1 minute response time to break and enters.
This has meant less crime because of a visible, uniformed security
guard patrolling our customers' property on a random schedule.
Should
you join the Security Club?
I
think it makes sense.

To
join the Security Club, contact us to sign up for alarm monitoring and
guard response. We will
arrange a time for our security consultant to visit and make
recommendations about your home or business.
This
consultation is free of charge.
A
NEW
CONCEPT
IN SECURITY
Spadina
Security realizes that your security is important.
We have begun testing a new philosophy in the security industry.
We call it the “Security Club”.
The
concept is actually very simple:
In
your neighbourhood, there may be thirty
or
more security companies providing services.
Each
company has overhead and must make profit.
When
you and your neighbours contract SSI for your alarm monitoring, lock
upgrades, guard response and other security related needs, we will be able
to provide better service, more services and less expensive services than
thirty other companies.
It
is like when a company is doing work for your next door neighbour.
They can offer you a better price because they are already there.
This
project is in place in the Queen
and Spadina area right now.
We have taken the area from Queen and Spadina to King and
Bathurst
to provide premium service to our customers.
Guard
response in this area has been
faster
than one minute from dispatch!
How?
We place a uniformed guard and marked vehicle in this neighbourhood
for 2 ˝ Hours every night. He
doesn’t have to race across the city to answer your alarm.
He may already be on your street or in your building.
With
every new customer we monitor in this neighbourhood we can keep the guard
another 15 minutes. With enough customers we can have our own
uniformed guard patrolling
our own neighbourhood 24 hours a day.
Our customers enjoy having fewer break and enters and other crimes
than their neighbours.
If
you are in this part of the city you can enjoy the benefits right away.
If not, talk to your neighbours to start your own security club.

CURRENT
STATISTICS
On March 27th, 2007 at 12:13 am our uniformed guard was patrolling our
customers at 460 Richmond Street West. As the guard left the
elevator on the 4th floor he heard an alarm siren and investigated.
Two minutes later the monitoring station contacted our guard to attend the
alarm. The guard immediately informed the monitoring station that
the premises was secure.
This is an unusual situation but it demonstrates the possibilities when
a human is on-site looking after your office.
On February 27th, 2007 we see a more common response time of 23
minutes. This is still twice as fast as many other guard response
companies.
Help us to keep the guard in the area. Our goal is for every
response to be under ten minutes from dispatch. We need your help to
do this.
Sign up today for alarm monitoring for the same rate you are already
paying $25 per month, or if you have a contract just request using SSI as
your guard response company for $15 per month.
SSI does not ask you for a contract for your alarm
monitoring. It is unbelievable that other alarm companies are suing
their own customers when they move, or when they are unhappy with the
service and want to end the contract.
We must make sure you are happy with our service and performance to
keep your business.
