Model LCN 1261 door closer is what we call a "professional quality" door closer.  To the building owner or property manager this means that this product will behave as you expect it to.  We find that professional quality locksmith products work well for decades.

There has been a flood of inferior copies on the market lately.  We have tested these "off-shore" door closers and found them to be lacking.  We do not recommend aluminum door closers because they do not stand up to the day-to-day use that a door closer is required to handle.
