On June 20, 2007 Spadina Security
personnel assisted Toronto Police in apprehending a burglar in the
Richmond and Spadina area. The burglar was hiding from police on our
client's property. During a routine patrol our uniformed guard
approached a man in a red shirt and asked for identification. The
man left the property. Our guard noticed Toronto Police searching
the area and asked the officers if they were looking for a man in a red
shirt. They were looking for the man in a red shirt in conjunction
with a rash of break and enters in the area.
Our guard continued his patrols
and noticed the man in the red shirt hiding in an alley. He notified
the police in the area and detained the man. The man was arrested by
Toronto Police.
Our hard working police officers
arrested and charged over 1,800 burglars in 2005.
