Security Checklist

Use this helpful list as a guide to planning for your security needs:

þ  Make sure you have a 1" deadbolt lock installed on your front door.  A 1/2" latch is very easy for a burglar to open.

þ  A good chain and a poor lock do not work. Consider high-security deadbolt locks.

þ  Install a door viewer (also called a peep hole)

þ  Ensure all windows below eye level are locked and secured with strong steel window bars.

þ  Remove bushes and shrubs that give theives privacy.

þ  An alarm system will let you know when your security has been breached.

þ  CCTV Cameras can provide evidence in catching theives.
