recommend installing high security locks and keys on all your exterior
doors. This gives you control over your keys, only you can make more
keys with the use of a key order card. You no longer give someone
pepermission to make copies of your key when you give them a key.
Mul-T-Lock also gives you protection from lock picking, which the internet is
teaching (try a Google search on lock picking and lock picking tools to see how
easy it is to learn the Locksmith's secrets.)
Bumping is often in the news now.
Lock Bumping is a type of lock picking where you use a key cut to the "9" depth
and then bump the pins to open the lock. Mul-T-Lock uses anti-Bump and anti-Pick
technology.
Mul-T-Lock also give you greater protection against physical attacks; including
hammer attacks, crowbar attacks and even power tool attacks from drills.
There are two ways to upgrade: Change your deadbolt to a Mul-T-Lock Hercular
Deadbolt for about $300 or just change the cylinder of your existing lock for about $150.
